I’m Back in Boise!  I grew up here but still trying to figure out why I left this great city. Spent the last 32 years of my radio career in Salt Lake City and decided to move back to be closer to me and my wife’s family.  My dad, the legendary Idaho basketball coach, Bus Connor, is still here hunting chukar and fishing the Owyhee.

This career in radio has been nothing but fun and it all started as an intern for Boise State communications credit at 58 KFXD and that’s how I got hooked.  Things have changed here since I left including Jackson Elementary  and West Jr. High being torn down as well as The College In & Out drive-in – where I had my first job giving away free burgers to my friends.   I have great memories of Boise including playing basketball  for dad at Boise State and watching my brother, Steve, break a lot of scoring records.  Now it’s back to trips to McCall, Lucky Peak boating, skiing at Bogus Basin, camping at Red Fish lake and lots of golf.

My lovely wife, Becky and her cool kids, grew up in Boise too and we’re loving the treasure valley and all it has to offer. My 5 kids are grown and doing their own thing while I’m playing all the music that made country great.

97.9 KQFC is really what country music is all about and I’m thrilled to be a part of it. Catch me every weekday from 10-2! Like my page or tweet me below, so we can catch up on old times.

Thanks for listening!  Even when I’m on-air.
